Model License Agreement

By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using any 3D model, CAD file, SketchUp model, asset, or other downloadable content (“Model”) available through Sketchup.CGTips.org (“Website”), you agree to be bound by this General Model License Agreement (“Agreement”).

All Models are licensed, not sold.

1. License Grant

Subject to this Agreement, Sketchup.CGTips.org grants you a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the Model for personal and commercial projects.

You may:

  • Download and store the Model.
  • Modify or customize the Model.
  • Incorporate the Model into larger projects.
  • Use the Model in architectural, engineering, interior design, visualization, rendering, animation, BIM, game development, presentations, marketing materials, and client work.
  • Produce physical products or printed materials derived from the Model.

2. Ownership

All intellectual property rights remain with the original creator or respective copyright owner.

Downloading or purchasing a Model does not transfer ownership or copyright.

Only the usage rights expressly granted in this Agreement are provided.

3. Restrictions

Unless expressly authorized in writing, you may NOT:

  • Sell, resell, license, sublicense, rent, or redistribute any Model as a standalone file.
  • Upload or publish any Model on another website, marketplace, cloud storage service, file-sharing platform, torrent network, or online repository.
  • Share purchased files or download links with third parties.
  • Create a competing model library, download service, or digital asset marketplace using Models obtained from the Website.
  • Claim ownership of any Model you did not create.
  • Remove or alter copyright notices, attribution information, watermarks, or embedded metadata.
  • Use automated tools, bots, crawlers, scrapers, or similar technologies to download or collect Models.
  • Use any Model, whether modified or unmodified, to train, fine-tune, validate, or develop artificial intelligence or machine learning systems without prior written permission from the copyright owner.
  • Mint, tokenize, or distribute any Model as an NFT or other blockchain-based digital asset.

Minor modifications, including changes to layers, colors, scales, file formats, names, or metadata, do not create a new original work and do not grant redistribution or resale rights.

4. Commercial Use

Commercial use is permitted only within projects where the Model forms part of a larger work or final deliverable.

The Model itself may never be the primary product offered for sale or redistribution.

5. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of any Model complies with applicable laws, regulations, and any third-party rights.

Where a Model contains third-party components or manufacturer content, you are responsible for obtaining any additional permissions that may be required.

6. Termination

This license automatically terminates if you violate any provision of this Agreement.

Upon termination, you must immediately cease using the Model and delete all copies in your possession or control.

7. Disclaimer

All Models are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Sketchup.CGTips.org does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, compatibility, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sketchup.CGTips.org, its owners, contributors, licensors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use any Model.

In all circumstances, the total liability of Sketchup.CGTips.org shall not exceed the amount paid, if any, for the applicable Model license.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Sketchup.CGTips.org operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to this Agreement

Sketchup.CGTips.org reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time.

Continued downloading or use of any Model after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
